Bouldering gyms near the forest, for a wet day.
Buñol: limestone boulders in open country, in Valencian Community, Spain. The nearest other areas on this site are Llíria (29 km), Calderona (46 km), and Almenara (63 km).
The answer at the top of this page says: yes means the rock should be dry, maybe means only the fastest-drying spots, and no means it's too wet. It comes from ECMWF's forecast and how fast limestone dries, and it's updated through the day. Nobody checks the rock in person, so touch the holds before you climb.
Buñol is limestone. It sheds rain quickly, though cracks, pockets and tufas can seep for days after heavy rain. These times are the model's estimates, not measured here. After a proper soaking (2 mm of rain or more), sunny, windy boulders need about 8 hours of dry weather, most of the boulders about 14 hours, and shaded ones about 19 hours. A light shower needs less time. A breeze shortens the wait, and above about 92% humidity the model won't call the rock dry.
Wet rock is slick, and pockets and cracks seep for days. If the holds feel greasy, come back later.
